yes i know exactly where you are coming from. I went dressed in my smartest jeans, with flat shoes and a jacket. That said there was one girl there who looked liked she had just come from a disco:eek:.
Basically you go in see the clerk who checks your SOA, takes your money and then says if the judge want to see you or not. If he/she does you go into a room with the person(jdge) sat behind a desk,no wigs, cloaks ect. He/she will then ask if you have taken advice, are you aware of the implications of bc,they may ask a couple more or they may not. They stamp your SOA and that as they say is that.
You may hve a quick word with the OR via a phone, you may not.
All courts operate a different system so i am generalising here.
Check out a few "my day in court" threads to get more ideas. Good luck for tomorrow.DxFree impartial debt advice available from: National Debtline - Tel: 0808 808 4000 | The Consumer Credit Counselling Service (CCCS) - Tel: 0800 138 1111 | Find your local Citizens Advice Bureau

I posted something similar before i went BR last week and asked what the court appearance would be like, i never even saw a judge!.. he just signed and stamped it and it was ready for me to pick up from the court, last wednesday it was!..still haven't heard anything from the OR yet though...thats what i'm not looking forward to, good luck with it all though, you'll be fine.0

hehe! how i panicked on the morning of my br!
i went smart casual, was greeted by a stuffy ole bird lookin over her half moons at me, she checked all the paperwork and dissapeared out back. a while later she returned with papers stamped and signed and that was it, didnt see a judge, never met my or, although we spoke lots on the phone and he was lovely!
dont panick, all will be fine i'm sure

It really will all be fine - the dreaded anticipation is the worst of it, honest
just wear whatever you feel most comfortable in (not jimjams!) & take a book/change for the vending machine/parking meter & tissues (just in case). I didn't see the judge or the OR on the day at all - it varies from Court to Court I guess & how busy they are.
Good luck for tomorrow, let us know how you got on
