i went in at 10am , was with my friend, we were directed to a small room, a clerk came in, went over my forms , took my money, i swore on oath. waited for a bit drinking water, judge called me in at 10:45, was in there about 60 seconds, gave me me file , took to the clerk, went back to room and OR rang, quick 5 min chat, booked app for telephone interview, was in KFC by 11.25

I went to Court on Monday 29th and have to say I was absolutely cackking it! Didn't sleep Saturday or Sunday and was at court at 8, having to wait a whole hour for it to open at 9!
Needless to say, in common with all the advice and information on here, my experience couldn't have been better. Everyone, from the two security guards to the BR clerk and assorted individuals going in and out of the buiding, was very friendly, very pleasant and anxious that I be attended to as quickly as possible.
I didn't get to see the Judge - the Clerk to me up to wait outside the court room, and came back 1 minute later with the forms signed and a big smile.
I had to wait an hour for the OR to call but that was a five minute call to confirm details and to tell me that I would get some forms this week to fill out and return and that they would be in touch for a telephone interview in about ten days time. Again, he was very pleasant and friendly.
I'm not looking forward to the OR interview but I am spending time making sure I have all my papers in order and ready for any questions they might ask.
The good news is, despite the heat I have managed to have two good nights sleep...something that hasn't happened for many many months.
Good luck to all

((((hugs)))) thats not good - br is first and foremost a psychological thing - we prepare, we cry, we laugh, we shut down, get angry, laugh again, cry again and then say stuff it! but to go through all that and then be having to do it again is really a bit pants. so have a hug or 3 from me..... ((())):kisses3:
hang on in there, friday will be here soon enough - keep yourself busy! :cool:0 -

sorry chellshoc but i don't really understand all this?
From my own understanding & experience - you phone the Court - you book your appointment - you turn up on the day. In the meantime if there is a problem re: appointment they phone you (after all they do ask you this) to re-book the appointment?
So, you turned up at the Court & they said they didn't have you down for a hearing? I guess i can undersatnd that as human error, blip?
but then you say 'also found our my OR will be in Brighton will this be a problem?' ??????
But then you will have attended the Brighton Court surely?
Sorry please explain because i personally went BR at the Brighton Court?

Yes from what i also gather its best to open your new Co-op account post BR (can be on the day of BR) where the brighton OR is concerned - I did just that & haven't had a problem
Good luck next time around (how stressful is that  poor you
