Its a shame this can't be reserved for store pick-up.
It says it'll be up to 21 days for delivery to my area so not much use for me really0 -

Product description: "Easy-set electronic touch controls with remote control (2 x AAA batteries included). "Before you judge a man, walk a mile in his shoes. After that who cares? He's a mile away and you've got his shoes.0 -
oops, sorry - just without the heater then...0

can you specify a delivery date?0

Not too good if it cant be picked up asap. seems by the time it arrives, the lovely sun and heat may have disappeared0

i was thinking of this was energy efficient it would be good for winter as well as summer? I cannot work out the correct kw per hour tho theres to many stats there! Can anyone help me, it says the cooling output is 2.97kw but the Annual consumption is kW/hour 657.5. Energy saver bulbs use 12kw so does that mean its going to be the same as running 21 bulbs at once?0

I actually went ahead and bought one of these (without the heater).
It was delivered rather quickly last saturday, however it did not come with the remote control. I have been into an argos store today and complained (just asked them to send me a remote), but when the lady phoned customer services it apparantly does not come with a remote. She did bring it up on her screen and no mention of a remote was made.
I know i wasn't seeing things - it did say with remote control didn't it!! (I know it doesn't now.)
Thanks Julie0 -

You say that the cooling output is 2.97kw. That means that for each hour you have it running cooling the air it uses as much a 3 one bar electric fires would in one hour if they were switched on simultaneously. Or put another way it uses the equivalent of having 30 100watt bulbs switched on simultaneously for one hour, or having 247 of your 12 watt energy saving bulbs switched on simultaneously for one hour.0
