They should stillhonour any x% for life deals (I've got a LloydsTSB Duo card with a 3.9% offer on which started life as a Texaco Card)

Well I had the letter from them this morning. Pretty annoyed really, as quite short notice and I usually obtain at least £10 a month of my Sky bill.

Now I will have to look for another reward card, as I usually spend £1000 a month at least on average on my card.

Has Sky decided to end credit cards, or just decided to end credit cards using Barclaycard?

As I'm a Sky subscriber this was the best reward card. Everything else is only around 0.5%. I don't consider AMEX, only Visa or Mastercard.

Can we rely on MSE to provide a great alternative?

Its a shame this is ending I was building up a nice pot of points. Better get them used up.
  • Does anyone know if you can still redeem your sky points via your sky box? I used to redeem via the interactive services on my sky box all the time and never had any trouble but Sky Card seems to have disappeared from the A-Z menu now. I've also forgotton my log in details for SkyCard. com and surprisingly can't get through to Customer Services to have them reset. If anyone knows how to redeem via the sky box please could you let me know.
    Many Thanks!

Very dissapointed as like others, the points were great for box office events.
So last points used up and card cancelled.
Anyone else looking for an alternative reward card found anything yet? I'm thinking the Argos mastercard may be the one to go for...

For the last 3 months, Sky card have been deducting £100 from my bf credit limit. Could they be trying to cut amount of debts?

This is a shame as I liked Sky. Twice my bank messed up my payment to Sky credit card and returned it to me, so it was late and Sky never charged me any fees what so ever.

I'm not sure what to do with my points as I no longer pay for Sky TV. Nothing I can trade them in for tickles my pickle.

Just got a letter in the post. It seems we will now be issued with a Barclaycard Gold Mastercard. All the info is here:
