silly q re the xbox.
oh plays it with the online thing set up so that he can play multiplayer games with other people. Is this going to use up loads of my monthly broadband usage or not? i get 10gig of downloads a month and have never had warnings or anything.

Yes it will. playing Xbox Live will count as usage under your broadband monthly plan allowance (after which further charges will apply). So please remember to check your usage meter regularly preferably daily.0

ive no idea how to check my monthly usage. am not that impressed with sky at the moment anyways as my usage was 20gig a month and they have halfed it with no warning so going to have a look and see what else there is.Debt free 3 years early :j

The main contributor to bandwidth usage will be in game chat, so it's worth disabling that.0 -
What you need to ask is whether he downloads many demos and videos. Some of the demos are over 1Gig.
My son plays on XBox live. My monthly totals for the last 3 months have been around 10gig for total family usage.Dave. :wave:0
