Businesses Bank Charge Claim

Has a Company ever claimed and received back their Bank Charges. The Company I work for, has over the last 7 years paid vast amounts in Charges. When I mentioned this to the Banks Relationship Manager, he implied that we would be more than welcome to go to another bank, and if we did pursue we would definitely lose our overdraft facility. He also said if we did it would set a precedent. Any real advice is more than welcome.
