Advice on flooring for kitchen

Options
Hi there,

We were flooded last year, and as a result our year old cushioned flooring bubbled a bit but remained ok. We have since bought a puppy, who has literally chewed through the whole lot and we've had to rip it out. Its quite a large kitchen - about 15ft x 14ft but we cant afford to replace the flooring. My HTB (yes - we get married in 3 months hence the skintness) fancies painting it with floor paint, but I'm not sure? Can anyone give us some advice please? I'm thinking the concrete floor will be cold - painted or not, and how easy is it to clean??

Thanks in advance,

Hels

Hi I know spending money at this stage will be a pain so maybe have a think about vinyl? Easy enough to lay down with some spray glue.

You could google the best way to lay it to make sure it looks as nice as possible.

Easy to clean and less cold than concrete.

I'd always go for vinyl, much warmer than tiles or paint.
But as you say, money's tight at the moment so try the paint, just for now, then after your wedding you could start saving for something else?
Make sure you get a solid agreement from your fiance on it :)
It's easy to clean, just vac & mop it.

    Congratulations!
