Tbh from what you have posted on here not a chance you will get the job. River Island etc is all about being trendy, young etc.
but she might be, just not think she is.
Its awful that shops like River Island operate in this way, though.0 -

From this thread I would be very very surprised if she falls within any of the high street retails store type of staff. I.e young, trendy and easy to manipulate and mostly under 30.
As for operating that way I can't agree. Lots of other companies will discriminate - albeit not on record - against younger people as they dont set the right image. i.e solicitors etc who would much prefer a middleaged business person on the front line.
Its all about your clientale. From what the OP has said would she be able to give a parent or anyone advice on clothes and fashion.0 -

well any sort of discrimination is obviously wrong. I just dont think it is very constructive to say to someone the day before an interview that they have no chance. You dont know that, none of us know a thing about the OP, she might some across a different way when posting than she does in real life.
I think she has every chance.0 -
Sorry but if she needs to ask what to wear to a river island interview she clearly hasnt the first idea about the place or what it is.0
