North Devon for a couple of days in July - any ideas?

Hi all.My girlfriend and I are thinking of going to North/East Devon in early July for 2days/1night. I was wondering if anyone could sugest some good places to go, preferbaly with a beach but also some peace and quiet.Yes I know there probably isn't anywhere like that. But somewhere with things to do would be good too.

Hoops Inn - old world thatched coaching inn. Between Bideford and barnstable...Nice place.
Bucks mills + Hartland point...nice sunsets there
