Who are your target market?
For example small businesses and start up, large companies, indivduals etc.
Whats your image and style - if you design quirky, funky sites then the name should reflect, likewise if your style is more sophisticated and upmarket then don't call it 'Dead Donkey Design' or the like.0 -

Whatever you choose, make sure it's easy to work out how to type it. The OP's user name, for example, would be disastrous ...cre8design.
crea8media.
I would find names with numbers in them annoying, because I'd remember the name better than how to type it. That may mean you 'lose' some traffic as people find similar site names which are written more transparently.Signature removed for peace of mind0 -

Fine to have a name with an 8 in the middle when you're writing it down, but what about when you're giving it to someone over the phone?
How about Visual Explosion?
I bought the visualexplosion.co.uk name years ago actually, and have never got around to making it into anything. Don't think my own web design skills are enough for people to pay for it, and a friend I have who is very good in that arena, doesn't need the work (lucky him, eh!). Also, the market locally is massively saturated with web design companies.
Like the name though..easy to relate, hard to spell wrong.0 -

Any other proposals?
Still a bit cheesy to me. I like the idea of going completely random and not web specific and obivous, think 'Orange' and 'Virgin'!0 -

'Orange Virgin' I'm sure I've dated a few of those false tan monsters in my time :rotfl:0
