We too are flying Thomas Cook - Birmingham - Dalaman - leaving at 10.55 pm. We will certainly take something to keep us warm!0

Will never forget my last Onurair flight. Halfway through a man started shouting loudly Allah, Allah, Allah at the top of his voice. We thought he was a suicide bomber, turned out the steward dropped a hot cup of coffee in his lap (They did make an announcement about this though to calm the passengers).0

Just got back from Marmaris a couple of weeks ago. Flew with Onur Air and didn't have any problems, we were bang on time both ways and felt there was plenty legroom and cabin crew were friendly enough.
I would also just repeat what's been said and haggle for everything. The all inclusive boat trips are a must as you will need plenty to drink on a hot day. I'd say head along to the bazaar for more authentic food, but our favourite restaurant was La Vita (Italian) on the beachfront, can't resist pasta.

Just to mention that the blankets we took with us to keep us warm on our Thomas Cook flight came in very useful indeed....

for the four hour delay at Dalaman Airport!
Never mind - home safe now - we were chauffeur driven all the way home to Aberystwyth from Birmingham by the nice Breakdown Truck! Thanks to Direct Line Breakdown.0 -

La vita wins my vote too our waiter ahemed was fantastic and funny and very helpful Food was cooked to perfection and plenty with good quality house wine. Flights were adaquate leg room better than most and onur air staff helpful enough . Taj Mahal takes some beating for a decent indian grub but it should do the owners are from bradford home of indian cusine . marmaris was good but we ended in Icmele which was imo better resort but not as lively as Marmaris. I would recommend both:cool: hard as nails on the internet . wimp in the real world :cool:0 -
If you go to Turkey , behave like a Turk and they will say half price. For example instead of how much , say "kac para"
