Hi All,
What are peoples views on this, tempted both ways to be honest, could do with the money and would sort of like the memento. Bought 4 tickets in total, one for me, one for my daughter, one for my niece and one for their friend. Was thinking of giving them their tickets as an investement but would they be worth more in the future?
Let me know your thoughts

I think I am going to go for the refund. It's works out at about £84 per ticket including the booking fees. As much as I love MJ, it's a lot of money for a souvenir.
As an investment, in years to come will people really pay over a £100 for lenticular tickets to a concert that didn't happen?0 -

In terms of resale don't forget we are living in a world where 20pence pieces are selling for £120 plus on the internet and apparently, there are 200,000 of these in circulation. Plus the original tickets were largely likely to be of interest to mainly British buyers whereas the souvenir would appeal to a worldwide market with it, if you believe AEG, being designed personally by MJ and featuring his SC steps in a hologram design.
Personally if possible I would like to refund on all but one ticket and then have one for a personal souvenir.
Separetly are booking fees being returned, I thought it was just base cost of ticket?0 -
AEG Live is considering the official release of Michael Jackson's last ever rehearsal, it has been claimed.
The late star's practice session at LA's Staples Centre was recorded last Wednesday in multi-camera, high definition video and multi-track audio, The Wrap reports.
One official at the concert promoter was reported to have said: "We have a live album in the can."
The recording was made as part of AEG's deal with Jackson to eventually release a live album and DVD culled from performances on his planned 50-date London residency.
The footage is said to be several hours long and include video of musicians, dancers and aerial performers.
AEG is reported to be facing a £300 million insurance liability if it self-insured Jackson's planned shows in the capital.

My partner had 2 tickets to see Nirvana on their UK tour, but as we all know Kurt Cobain sadly committed suicide before they took place.
My partner handed his tickets back & got a refund, but has always said he wish he'd kept 1 of them.
Look at the price some of the rarer unused ones fetch on eBay and remember that there are more people who are fanatical about Michael Jackson than there are about Kurt & Nirvana.
However, as there were 50 dates and the O2 holds 23,000 people that means that in total 1,150,000 tickets were sold  and even if 25% of buyers keep their tickets this means that they will never be a truly rare item & therefore not worth as much as they would be if he was only doing the original 10 dates and definately not as much as if it was only 1 or 2 dates.
Personally I would keep 1 and get a refund for the rest, but it really depends on how much you paid for them in the first place.

I have 2 but tempted to keep the tickets but also need the money, do i risk keeping the tickets and selling them on ebay or cash in and get the refund?
Ive also seen some on ebay, but once the tickets are in hand etc will the value go up more or down - as more will be selling them, depends how many opt for the refund
There is also 8 different ones, so some may want a certain one or even 'collect' all 8 of them which will push the value up maybe.
Dont know what to do for the best! hmmm.Make £10 a day Challenge June - £1700 -
forget the exchange, the real money will be for the actual issued tickets. I'd personally keep all four (if you can afford too).0
