Fashion colour coordination advice needed.

Don't quite know where to post this so feel free to move.

I'm going to a Black Tie Dinner. I have a dark burgundy ball gown and I need to find a pashmina to cover my shoulders. What colour do you suggest? Or any other ideas maybe?

Might go cream / goldish. Don't know what other bits you are having, eg, bag?

Depending on the depth of the shade, pink may go with it, or a silvery grey.

unless it will be too cold, and you require the warmth of a pashmina (i have always found the bridal section at BHS great for stuff like that)

I very rarely carry a bag so thats no problem. Sandles are going to be black open toes.

    Cream / goldish sounds good.

I have a deep pink and it looks too bright with it. Silver sounds good though.

I like the idea of a feather boa.
Unfortunately our bhs doesn't have a bridal department.

sorry, i didnt make myself very clear :o i'll try again :D

BHS are great for the pashminas/bags/shoes..accessories for formal do's

as for the feather boa - somewhere like claire's accessories, accessorise, fancy dress shop etc - loads of places sell them, its just a case of tracking them down :)

also, you could get a two tone one, with a neutral white/cream, and then a contrasting colour to match the dress.

(im enjoying this far too much for someone who isnt a "girly" girl :D)

If you've got a primark near you try there. I've seen pashminas in there for about £5 and they looked quite good quality.

    pavlos_dog I'm not girly thats why I haven't got a clue either.

I have one event this weekend and another the end of April and luckily only one couple will know I am wearing the same outfit twice. Just different colour pashminas etc... :D
