car air conditioning

The A/c in the Honda Civic needs recharging. Do I have to get a guy out to do this at £50+, or is there a way I can do it myself?

I doubt you can do this yourself.

I think Halfords sell a recharge kit. Why DIY when even the dreaded KwikFit do a regas from £25?

Had mine done last week for the bargain price of £19.99 (local garage special offer) the mechanic said don't do it at home as the kits don't have enough gas in and some oil needs replacing as well, small amount. Obviously it was a lot more of a technical explanation but I glazed over after the first sentence.
