I have logged into magnum to check the balance is still there and it now only says £18.00 balance, so where has the £2.00 gone??????
Im pulling my hair out with this bloomin promotion!!! Has anyone else had problems spending them????? Help!!!!
Same thing just happened to me placing an order on play.com. I have a £10 Magnum Pleasure Card, but after a £9.99 transaction was declined by play.com I checked my Magnum card balance and it shows only £8.
Thanks for nothing, Magnum / play.com.0 -

I originally had a problem in Asda with these cards, very embarassing at the time.
My problem was I was using them as individuall payments for the one balance and that is why it was declined.
Went back the next day and used it for a smaller shop that did not exceed the balance on the card and it went through on the self service tills and the cashier (two seperate transactions).
So as long as your balance does not exceed whats on the card your payment should go through fine, I was glad to get rid of the things in the end:rolleyes: HTHIf your neighbour's grass is greener, its time to water your lawn!:rotfl::rotfl:0 -
I found the way to use them was to get my shopping, pay the difference to what was on the card in cash first, then let the lady swipe the balance on the card last. This worked fine for me in Morrisons. I thought I would try to use one on a bingo site, as it wouldn't be my money I was playing with, it accepted the card details fine but when tried to put the balance onto deposit it wouldn't allow it, so tried again using half the balance and it still wouldn't go through, so they cant be used like that i guess.................Quit Day - 8th July 2009.0

I used mine in my local Tesco and it worked fine. Used the rest in Boots which worked ok too. I did try to use it in Beefeater but it wouldn't work with their machines.Just because you made a mistake doesn't mean you are a mistake.0
