Ohhh what an interesting thread!
I wear PJ's even in the heat as I hate being all sticky. I have to admit though my PJ's have seen better days, its just no-one else see's them and so I would rather spend my money of stuff that is seen.2009 wins: Cadburys Chocolate Pack x 6, Sally Hansen Hand cream, Ipod nano! mothers day meal at Toby Carvery! :j :j :j :j0 -
It depends on whether OH is around - and the weather... Sometimes a silk slip nightie from La Senza, or a cotton jersey version from Tesco, cold weather means a T-shirt nightie and socks, and warm weather like this means nowt!2021 Decluttering Awards: ⭐⭐🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇🥇 2022 Decluttering Awards: 🥇

I feel better with something on ... my boobs seem to get everywhere if not!
I always keep a dressing gown nearby, due to being caught in a fire whilst working at Butlins when I was younger (not actually in the fire, a few chalets down). I ran out in just a far too small nightie, and had to spend three hours stood outside in nothing else. Think it made me develop a phobia!
My ex would occasionally lean on one of my boobs! OUCH!
And the fire thing- when I was in halls at uni and the weekly 3am fire alarm went off I'm sure some of those girls got changed into sexy slinkies! There's me out there with thick dressing gown, long black coat and my DMs on and there's all these girls in little silky slips fawning over the fire men!

Am I the only MSE person that wears a nightshirt? One of those oversized t-shirt ones that comes to mid-thigh, and nice and loose for comfort.
I have a whole range of nightshirts, from brushed ones with long sleeves for the winter, to light silky ones for summer.
I can't wear PJs because I hate having anything on my legs at night - it makes me feel too resticted.
My favourite one has a teddy bear on the front, with a sewn-on sarong. The sarong lifts up so a nude teddy bear is displayed! Ahhh..........

I tried, honest, but they'd always end up round my armpits!

I have a couple of nightshirts from when I was last in hospital but now they are worn with my pj bottoms.:heart2: Love isn't finding someone you can live with. It's finding someone you can't live without :heart2:0 -
I think the older I get, less attractive (I think, DH doesn't think so) the more I like the feminine nighties I discovered some years ago. http://www.davidnieper.co.uk/cosy-short-sleeve-nightdress/GB/1/055/SSND/style/0992/
This is so comfortable these hot sweaty nights - it's soft and it absorbs the perspiration. We all sweat during sleep.
I once looked after a lady who had MS and that's where I discovered David Nieper's product range. She said 'her body was so ugly, she liked to cover it up with the most feminine, lacy, beautifully-made nightwear'.
They are costly, but not like cheapo things that are badly-made and not designed to last. You get them in a box and the seamstresses and packers actually sign their names.Ær ic wisdom funde, ær wearð ic eald.

In the warmer months I tend to just where a pair of undies and I'm always kickin the cover/sheet over during the night so if I wore anything more..I might get too restless and might toss my husband out of bed LOL but in the colder months I usually wear a pair of lounge pants. It's all about the cuteness with my loungepants..from the pink skull bunnies to the Mr. Men ones hehe.
