HMRC were a priority creditor, but that was changed with the Enterprise act.0 -
I'm in a similar boat, although I'm only 6-weeks into my BR. I don't have any bad feelings for the OR if they don't get round to things but I'm too busy trying to do my own job, let alone start doing the Insolvency Service's job for them.
Let us know when you get put on Nil Tax, I'll keep an eye on this thread :money:0 -
On a similar thread, does anybody know at what point do they stop the NT code? My sister was supposed to have a NT tax code for three months up until the ned of the last financial year. She made the three payment to moonbeaver and they then wrote to say that it was the final instalment and she thought that was that. She has since has 2 or 3 paydays, and her code is still NT, so obviously she is getting more pay. She has told the OR but nothing has happened - does she need to contact HMRC? Is this normal?
Thanks

Until the end of the tax year in which you go bankrupt (ends 5th April) or if you change jobs.
need to phone HMRC as they are the only ones who can change a tax code.0 -
Sorry to ask, but haven't had my OR interview yet.
