Just wondering if anyone can help me, My Gmail account got hacked at about 7pm last night.
Whoever the hacker is, tried to change my facebook password first, with no success as my facebook is set to a different email account, tey the tried to reset my sisters and friends facebook passwords!!!
I have changed my ebay account to another email address and taken all cards and bank accounts off of Paypal, but I do not know what else to do.
I have tried to retrieve my Gmail accounts several times without success, apparently Gmail cannot verify that I am the account holder BOO!
Any advice, on what to do and what not to do would be most helpful.

Gmail are rubbish at sorting out anything resembling a problem. I only use mine for 'special' emailsIt's taken me years of experience to get this cynical0

Also, the hacker may have gained access to your GMail account by resetting your password using the "Memorable Question" feature that is commonly available.
If they know you well, and the question is pretty obvious (like "Whats your favourite football team?") then its going to pretty simple to do.Lack of money is the root of all evil.

Thanks for your replies. My password was nothing obvious, which nobody knew, not even my family, and gmail send a passord reset email to a secondary account, which the hackers have changed, so i have no access to this other account. I have no idea how they have done it to be honest. It is actually driving me insane trying to figure it out!0
