Hi,
Busy buying my first property, could anyone offer any advice on the following,
1) what is a fair quote for both bldgs & contents?
2) is it best to go for separate quotes or joint?
3) any ideas who is offering the best deals at present?does it make any difference that property is a new build?
4) Are there any particular insurers who deal specifically with new build's?
thankyou in advance to any reply's

I have done hours and hours of research for my son who is buying his first home. The best quote I have had for combined insurance which includes accidental damage for both is £132 with Sheilas wheels!0

if you've found the quote on line, give them a call as well and see if they can bring the quote down any less. I'm with Direct Line and a quick call to them when it came to the renewal date dropped the price by 280 quid!!0
