I had a call earlier from a Double Glazing company in Southampton earlier. However, it wasn't the usual script and, to be honest, I think the method the young lady used was decidedly underhand. When I answered the phone she told me she was ringing from Suchandsuch (I didn't get the name) and she believed that I had spoken…

Ive just had a bloke here asking if he could get someone to survey our house as part of the Govt. scheme - wanted to take photos to show the heat loss or something.

I googled it and this thread came up - so just wanted to add to it . Has anyone else had this?

It just didnt sound right to me so I said no thank you and shut the door.
