debit payment time limit

Hi

i recently bought some foreign currency, which was put through as a cash withdrawl from my debit card, its been a couple off weeks but the money still hasn't been taken from my account, is there a time limit on how long they can take to withdraw the money?

    6 years from the date of the transaction.
    Until it is debited to your account treat it as a free loan.

    Depending on the card/account used there may be a hefty fee charged as well...when the transaction finally shows up.

    Better to use a Maestro card or cash first obtained over the counter (unless you have a Nationwide account?).
