E4B electricity

Hi.
Was wondering if anyone knows who I might be able to complain to, other than administrators and Energy Ombudsman (who say they cannot help), in order to get my money back from E4B who went into liquidation last October. I used to pay for my electric monthly by direct debit and was in credit and am now owed a fair sum by them that apparently I have to wait for till all this liquidation business is sorted, which could take years!! Surely someone must be able to repay me as I have paid for a service/goods that I have not received (albeit that the company has now gone bump). I even tried the bank thinking that their direct debit guarantee would cover but apparently it doesn't. Any ideas?

Unfortunately you will be in a very long line and sadly probably wont get much if anything once creditors like tax people get there share, sorry
