Halifax reclaims - made offer but waht next????

For the past couple of weeks i have been trying to reclaim £826 from the Halifax (that they have charged me in under 1yr), they have confirmed that I can claim under financial hardship and to be fair due to me making phone calls every other day they have pushed through my case pretty quick :)

HOWEVER TODAY I HAVE TOLD THAT THEY WONT BE REFUNDING THE MONEY AND ALL I HAVE BEEN OFFERED IS THAT I WONT HAVE ANY CHARGES OVER THE NEXT 3 MONTHS!!!!!!!!!!!!!! but for the past 4 months i have mangaed to get my money under control and not recieved any charges so what good is that to me, I would have to go over my overdraft on purpose to get any benefit!!!!!!!!!

I have contact the financail onbudsman already and they have agreed to look into my case, BUT does anyone know of a way to possiably get the money back now instead of waiting as this will clear several bills (which I'm be chased for)and will pay back my overdraft????

:wall: <---- about sums me up right now!?!?!

Are they priority debt arrears(mortgage/rent, council tax, utilities)?

Ok, from what you have written today. I would probably agree with what they have done as there are no charges today and that a repayment plan is already in place with the one priority debt that you have. With regards to the Credit Card, have you claimed the charges on them, if you have any(including the £12 ones)?

Credit card claims are even easier and furthermore are not subject to any stays because of the OFT test case so should be fairly straight forward.
