in Credit cards
I wonder if anyone can help. My g/f's elderly father has a credit card and every month a transaction to "Home Video Channel - Mail Order" for £15.99 appears. He has no idea what this transcation relates to and we are trying to cancel it. I am aware that a recurring transaction can only be cancelled by the merchant but how do we go finding out the address of the merchant. if we write to the credit card provider will they be able to supply this information?
Thanks in advance

Get your g/f's father to call up the credit card provider and ask for details of the merchant. There should be a contact number with the transaction or a name. Just whack it into google & it should reveal the merchant.0

A Google search does indeed suggest an ''Adult channel or channels''.0

Cancell the card and get a replacement. You can then find out the company in your leisure without more charges being apllied.0
