I am looking at selling my house quiet quickly as was looking at using a Property buying organisation. Has anyone ever used one of these and is it worth using one?

We regularly used to get people tell us they will have no chain as a company will be buying their house from them. The first time I heard it, some years ago, I thought great but very quickly learned the reality of these types of companies and from that point on I thought OH NO here we go again.
Oh no because I have NEVER had anyone who has gone ahead with it. Many had their solicitor read the paperwork and the result of that is they were put right off the idea.A retired senior partner, in own agency, with 40 years experience in property sales & new build. There is absolutely nothing wrong in using one of these companies provided you remember 2 things
1) They are profit making organisations.
2) They have to buy property at a price that will allow them to become 1) i.e. about 75% (or less) of the absolute rock bottom figure your house would sell for in your worst nightmare.
Remember these 2 points and you'll be fine!If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0
