How long to wait for finalised award??

Hi,

I no longer recieve tax credits, i called up and did my annual decleration over the phone a couple of weeks ago. The lady said that i should get some paper work few in the next few days finalising what i got that tax year and letting me know of any overpayments etc.

I still havent recieved anything. how long should it take for these to be sent out as i need to know asap if i've been overpaid.

You can phone back and ask for finalised figures over the phone. In my experience they will give you them if they have them ready (I think in our case it took from Thursday am- me telling them the p60 figs, to Monday midday- them having the new figures, and that was about May time so they would have been busy). I have done this several times as our mail often goes round the block a few times (or it seems that way!). [STRIKE]Make sure you get the finalised 08-09 figures and the provisional 09-10 figures as well.[/STRIKE] Oops just re-read your post and realise you no longer get tax credits so ignore that last line.
