Do you get DLA or any financial help because of your illness other than ESA?

Have only just applied for the ESA, haven't looked into claiming for anything else yet. I wil give it a shot, but it seems like a bad time to be starting benefits I think they will be tougher than ever. I am trying to create a bit of online income, I'm not really capable of any physical work yet.

My brother got a job response the other day, praying he gets something soon.

We always seem to scrape by somehow, just have a crisis every now and then (Stress seems double when the weather is so hot). We will try contacting CAB, etc. and look into tax and food in a bit more detail.

    Thanks guys

If you are getting any income by any sort of work online you will need to advise the DWP about this.

Your brother's financial problems are his - not your poor mother's! The best thing she could do for him (and for you) is to kick him out - she has to think of herself at some stage in her life, and it should be now, imo.

You say "he has a bit of a drug problem but he's still my brother" - he should remember that he should be looking after his mother now!
