Council mot test centres
Ive been reading around and it seems taking my bike to a council run mot test centre seems to be the best plan of action. I was wondering if anyone can tell me if there are any in or nearest to flintshire. I have phoned the council but they didnt have a clue.

The bike mot is very basic, don't bother messing around with a council test center just take it to a local bike shop0

Yes, any good bike place will do it.
The simple thing is that the bike test is simple so that old Enfields and the like will pass, when you consider the difference to a modern bike, a bike shouldn't fail. For example my sports bike will only fail the brake test if it's calipers are removed (But it would already fail due to the calipers)0 -
I took a restoration project for an MOT just to find out what was wrong with it. The front brake was scary and the tyre sidewalls were cracked. I was shocked when it passed, not even an advisory. There's no way I would ride it in that condition. Unfortunately it's harder to fail than to pass...0
