Hi
I viewed a house on Saturday that has been on the market 4 wks at £127500. Im going tomorrow for a second viewing and assuming I still want it,am wondering how much to offer first time.I think the house is well worth the money and am willing to pay the asking price but would like to get it a bit cheaper if I can. I dont know how much to start with and dont want to offend anybody. Just to mention I am a FTB and that there is no chain. Any comments would be appreciated Thanks

Think it depends on whether you think it is worth the asking price? (though I think you did say it was worth it?!) We always started our negotiations with a slightly lower offer so that there is some room to get abit off the asking price. Also depends on whether the seller is wanting a quick sale or not aswell. If they wanted a quick sale, then they are more likely to consider lower offers! I would definately start with maybe 10k less, or more! As you have nothing to lose, if they declined!
Good luck with it!!0
