Customised laptop

Can anyone please give me links to retailers that allow you to customise a laptop before you buy it, changing RAM, processor, OS etc? I've only come across Dell so far.

Not quite an answer to your question, but Toshiba have a significant range of models, which seem just to be variants on the same theme - different CPU, different hard disk, different amount of memory, different screen resolution, and so on.

It's fairly unlikely that they will have devised the exact 'customisation' which you want, though...

Apple allow you to do this, to varying degrees depending on the model.
