E: 30/06 @11am Win Tickets to Wimbledons Mens Single Finals (Email)

NotwClicky

Our winner's Wimbledon contracts will guarantee you and a guest a Centre Court seat each and access to the exclusive Debenture Holders Lounge if your chosen player reaches next Sunday's final.

If you are selected as the winner we will then ask you what player you would like to nominate for your contract.

Alternatively, you can turn your contracts into hard cash by selling them on the finalfutures website if you think your chosen player will be knocked out before the final.

Answer - Rafael Nadal :D

You can also enter free by emailing us with your answer together with your name, age, address, daytime telephone number and the name of the player you think will appear in Sunday's Men's Singles Final to sportcomps@notw.co.uk
Do good and good will come to you.

It's a pretty huge this competition. If Andrew Murray gets to the final (and he has a VERY good chance now with his group) the tickets will be £3,000+. The article in NOTW doesn't talk cash values though so I think that not too many people will enter, so there's a better than average chance of winning. (I would like to put a link to the News of the World competition page here, but can't post a URL!)

If you're unsure of how FinalFutures works, it's simple. It's a sports ticket stock market. If you choose someone who is heading towards a final, you buy a future and their value goes up as they progress. If you get in early, it's cheaper. If they get to the final you get a ticket to the event and if they get knocked out you lose. And at any time you can sell your future contract (for profit or to cut your losses).

I've been watching Andy Murray rise from £75 at the start to £1,450.00 today and have made three times my original investment trading on the system so far (on football futures). I know nothing about the stock market, but just enough about Man U and Barcelona to pay for this year's holiday! I'm wondering if combining a Murray and Federer investment and buying both (1450 + 2341) will give me £6k's worth in the shape of two Wimbledon Final tickets and at the very least one!

    Opinions anyone?

  • I starting investing in final futures a while back and made a packet on predicting that man utd would get to the champions league final. Thankfully I managed to sell contracts i bought for other teams in the same competition and the FA Cup at the right time. I think a £500 outlay made me £1800 which was rather splendid!
  • I think the article was a bit unclear but when you visit the website it is much easier to understand how FinalFutures work.
As a fan of tennis i think it is a great way to try and obtain tickets. I entered the competition and signed up to FinalFutures on Sunday. I have already bought a contract for a player which i think will go a long way for a reasonable price, but i am not telling who, so hopefully i will get to see a match this year by some means! :)

MURRAY IS NOW £2,236.00! That's gone up £800 in 4 days now.
(Search for 'murray' on finalfutures dot com)

If Murray gets through to the final tickets will still be £800 more than this price now.
