Charity/Arts funding

has anybody ever applied for funding for an arts charity or an arts based project. If so where did you apply, and how straightforward was it. we are in the process of developing a literature/arts project for youngsters but will desperately need some funding tio carry it forward

You can try the Arts Council the applications taken around 12-14 weeks.And depening on the region you are in the should have a support officer to help you. If you are going to be a social Enterprise check out Unltd that have fuding but it has to benefit you educationally so what are you going to learn from the project?
