Hi
I had a successful bank charge reclaim earlier this year, so after that my friend asked me to help her do hers. We sent of the letters and then got a reply asking her to fill out a SOA, she did this and sent it off, it clearly show that she is around £300 short each month.
She received a letter back last week saying that she is £500 overdrawn and adding interest on she owes them £900! The bank charges she was trying to reclaim was around £950.
The letter isn't from Royal Bank of Scotland themselves but from solicitor about going to court.
We don't know what course of action we should take next can anyone help?
Thanks

Marvellous, write back to them and state that the account is subject to a legal dispute and that should court action be taken against your friend that you will vigorously defend it.
