Overpayment- Is this a fresh idea?
I recently asked egg if it was Ok to over pay the debt on their card by 2 transfers to 2 new cards (both at 0% of course), both set to do the maximum transfer from egg). Egg said - yes if it happens - we'll just send you a cheque for the overpayment. Both the new cards do NOT do BT to overdrafts, only to other credit cards. Apart from the delay in getting the cheque from egg (2 weeks ish they said) it sounds like an ideal way to get cash from a 0% card with no charge. I've done the deed - I'll post the results in a week or three.

Not a fresh idea, and is what Egg money card was designed for (without the hassle of waiting for the cheque as they just do BACS fee-free to your account)0
