  • I've just been and cleaned out the stock they had, my partner and I have wanted to get the Merlin annual theme park admission cards and now with these points will be able to get them cheaper than what it would have cost online and got all the booze for free!
Another offer out there is the Marques Monistrol Vintage 2005 Cava which is 10.99 a bottle but you get 300 clubcard points so I grabbed a case of that too although you can get this online at 36% off but no big points.
Overall very happy with this tip! Have no idea what the wine is like but will come in handy for gifts and parties....Yay!:T

Please help me. I'm obviously being a bit thick but desparately want to get on this deal to take my kids to Thomas land in the summer holidays. But I just can't work out how I would get the tickets in time. Tesco (the website) says it will only send out the Clubcard vouchers 4 times a year the next time being 8th September. And as far as I can work out I have to have these paper vouchers as sent in the post to order the clubcard deals for Thomasland which will all be too late for the summer hols. Is this right? or is there a way round this. It all seems very long winded.
Is anyone can shed any light on this will be eternally grateful!

I may be misreading this, but it seems to sound better than it really is.

The 4x reward points means you have to want to use one of their affiliate companies/offers, which is perhaps something you wouldn't have otherwise done.

So it's effectively getting £45 of wine for £27? (£27 for 6 and say £18 free in the next shop)

Cheap, but not like we're "up" as some posts suggest.

    Or am I missing something?

Some people want to use the companies you may consider never wanting to use.

In any case - your comment in brackets is more accurate than the bit before it. But yes, you're not up if you can't use the points on something of that value to you via Clubcard Vouchers.

When cashing the vouchers in you need to have the reference number printed at the bottom of each clubcard voucher. If you haven't got any handy then you will need to wait until the next posting date (September). They last for 2 years so it may have to be something you save the vouchers up for next yeats.

    is the wine actually drinkable?

Maybe surprisingly, it's pretty high quality - the white particularly. Not sure why Tescos feel the need to give it away, but who am I to quibble? YUM!!

You can use the vouchers to do something you fancy... Even if you wouldn't have done it otherwise, you still get to do that thing...so whilst you may not view it as "up". If someone said to me "here, buy 6 bottles of wine, get 25% off...oh, yeah - and have a meal out on us", I'd think that was a pretty decent offer tbh? And if someone offered me a £36 meal out, or £18 off my weekly shop, I'd probably take the meal.

So you might not be "up", if that's the way you want to view it, but it's still a great deal.

I use my vouchers to save me money on a couple of thing I would buy anyway eg RAC membership, magazine subscription, wine for Christmas. That way I have cash to either save or spend however I like.

Can anyone help? I've never ever used a clubcard in-store (I know, I know) as I only ever order online from Tesco and then only when I can make a 'profit' on the deal (i.e. when there's a big bonus points code knocking about). Soooo...dug out my 'new' clubcard and the number on it in no way corresponds to the number on my various clubcard vouchers that have been sent (even though they are both in my name). I was very tempted to go for this deal but can I use the vouchers as well as collect the points on the clubcard even though the membership numbers aren't the same? TIA!

Thought I'd better call in before work as this hit the email. Bought 12 bottles of white, used £1 off and extra points (100). Paid with £25 of vouchers doubled up to £50, and a couple of quid cash. Got 1900 points back :).

    Thanks OP

(clubcard plus application form in the post to me....)

....oh and a 5p off petrol/diesel valid until 17 July (never normally spend enough to qualify)
