Just wondering.
Can a very small box room be classed as a walk-in cupboard (instead of a third room) to save on insurance?

If your house burnt down, would you be happy with a 2 bed, with an additional cupboard?
If you are then skimp on the insurance.
If not the insure for 3 bedroooms.
The old adage "you get what you pay for" works perfectly here.
Have you watched EastEnders recently.
Ian Beale wanted to save some money so didn't insure his cafe, which then burnt down.
It's a salutory tale for those thinking of saving on insurance in the credit crunch.
You need to lok for ways of saving money WITHOUT ompromising on cover.
Like getting cashback for example.
Last year I got £120 cashback from quidco.
The policy is no different to one that didn't get cashback, so I gave not compromised, and this is what you should be aiming for.
Savings without compromise.0 -
This isnt a wind up. Its a genuine query.
The question came to mind so i asked.
It makes sense what people are saying about the whole 2 bedroom replacement though!0 -
then i will look into quidco too.0

out of interest which co provides the £120 cashback on quidco because i cant see any?0

It was Lloyds TSB last year.
It's quite possible you can't get the same amount now as the deals change all the time.
You can order by amount etc. in quidco to see who gives the biggest cashback.
Bear in mind that price should not be your only criteria.
You should consider service and coverage as well.
But quidco is certainly an option worth consideration IMO.0
