I will be traveling to Australia from the UK Will my tom tom work in Oz or do I have to down load OZ maps as it does not have the SD card facility

It will work in Oz regardless, but will only help you with routes and navigating if you have downloaded and installed Australia maps.

If you don't have an SD card slot you might need to check for space for Oz mapping. Not familiar with how you get more space on that model- presumably you can dump the UK maps to disk- and swap between them using Tom Tom home?

The map is only 93.2mb (not many roads in Oz) so will fit onto a 3rd ediion no problem. If you currently have full Europe then you will have to remove that to your computer first. If just UK you can just add it to the unit. The map needs downloading using Tomtom Home and costs £44.95.
