Digital TV For The Car
Please excuse if this has already been posted but I tried searching anything couldn't find anything on this.
Does anyone know anything about Digital TV for the car. I've got a VW that has sat nav etc etc. With the World Cup coming up, I don't want to miss a minute of any games as I have watching every single game of the World Cup since '90 (showing my age now).
So I thought that I might splash out and get one of these systems. Theres a guy that does a kit all in for £500 inc aerials etc etc.
What I want to know, is it worth spending this to what your going to get as this also doubles up as a DAB.

Unless you plan on being stationary and watching the games then it's a bit pointless as you should only be able to operate the TV when the handbrake is on. You may find people willing to sell/install the kits so that you can watch it on the move but this is hughly dangerous - your eyes should be on the road not on a TV screen.0

Its virtually impossible to get digital TV in a car whilst on the move - even in central London where you dont even need an aerial. Plus unless you are a passenger its illegal to have it on where the driver can see it whilst the car is in being driven.Never argue with an idiot. He will bring you down to his level and beat you with experience.

The latest Merc S class is equipped with freeview digital as reviewed by Clarkson at the weekend, perhaps you could pop into the Merc dealer and arrange a p/x!This signature is not mine!0
