Sky+ Box Won't Record....

Just bought a 'new' second hand Pace Sky+ box and have swapped it with my old non+ box. Sky have switched in over and all works perfectly, the live pause etc, except;
It comes up 'no satellite signal is being received' whenever you start the recording. This appears only on the channel being recorded and not any other.
I'm sure it's something silly but I'm getting a little frustrated now!
Thanks for any help

Sky+ boxes require two feeds/cables from the dish to allow it to record one channel while watching another. Your non+ box probably only had one.0

Thought it may be something along those lines......
Original Sky installed in 2006 and only one cable. Here's me thinking it would be straightforward! It'd be easier to cancel Sky, and retake out the Sky+ free in my partners name I bet.0 -
Depending on how easy the access is to your dish, it's a reasonably simple job running a new cable to the box.Dave. :wave:0

You will also need a new LNB
