Which dyson

Options
I am debating which dyson to buy the DC24 all floors or DC14. Also cannot decide whether to get cylinder or upright. The house is small, not sure where to put the upright as it seems bulky. Thanks

We killed our cylinder Dyson quite quickly.

The upright is very heavy and its landed on me a couple of times but the thing is indestructable! It's over three years old and the longest we've ever had a hoover; it's never even been repaired. The repair man was always wondering at the stuff that would go up our old one! It must have had an entire Lego house in it's interior workings. I'm forever hoovering up money, balloons etc and it all just pops into the chamber within a second.

It is bulky but I'd have another one for it's durability. I find the upright easier to store than the cylinder with all it's gubbins constantly falling out of the cupboard! The suck has never been affected - it was on the cylinder, it had to be repaired a lot.

....or a Miele. We've had ours for years and Miele products have a very good reputation.

Our upright dyson is just reaching the end of its life as the cable is fraying - but then it is 11 years old!

Need to choose which Vac is better for Cat Hair & young Children, the Dyson Animal or Miele Cat and Dog (Both Cyclinder versions) -anyone got experience with either of these models - or have the Which Best Buy list for Cylinder Vacs?

Forget Dyson, get a Miele or a Numatic.

Been using my Dyson DC02 (cylinder) for about 15 years now. Only been repaired once, when I dropped it down the stairs

I have the Dyson 'Animal" and its been great. Had it about 4 years and never broken down. Bit bulky and heavy though, but would definitely get another one:rolleyes:
