ID in Ayia Napa

DD (aged 17) and some girlfriends (most 18) are off to Ayia Napa next week and I just wondered how strict the clubs are out there about ID? DD looks over 18 but clubs/pubs near where we live are really hot on ID and not letting them in without it.

Plenty of people assured DD that she wouldn't need ID when she booked but I am concerned about her getting out there and not being able to go out. I have searched the internet and the 'official' sites are saying that they are really strict but I am aware that this may not be the case in 'real life'. Any advice gratefully received.

Have also posted on travel forum but thought some of you on this board may have been out there

Anyway. Although the legal minimum is 18 they really do not give a monkeys as long as you look old enough. Of course, don't tell your daughter this
