It wouldn't happen to be Wacken, would it?

But yeah, a few years ago I bought a new tent to take to a festival. It cost me £15 from the Big W! And let me tell you, that whole weekend it p*ssed down. And we stayed dry ^_^

I took it abroad to Belgium the next year for another festival and there was torrential rain and thunderstorms through the night...and guess what. Still dry!

So all these people saying it's impossible to get a tent for £15 or less...lies! Ours was a 3 man as well, so plenty of room.

I have a friend who was with us at said festival in Belgium and she still swears by her tent that she got from Tesco for about £20.

Worst comes to the worst, you could always try make new friends in Germany and sleep in their tent :rotfl:

    Hi,

if you can stretch to about £40 you can get an absolute bargain for a really great tent!

Go on to the additions direct website and type in litchfield tent. The one you want is
Litchfield Yana 3 man tent (in red)

This is a 3 man tent with a seperate lounge type area - double layered and one of those pop up ones so no hassle when putting it up!. I have been looking for a decent general weekend tent and all the reviews are great for this one everyone says that it is a really good quality tent for a pop up!.

Now if you are a new customer to Additions Direct there is at the moment a 30% discount code (Type in XX268 at the checkout ) for new customers! this saved me £17!! and if you go through the Top Cash Back website and they will give you an additional 10% cash back!. So in total I paid £45 for the tent inc delivery and will receive £4.50 back!

    Good luck!!

Depending on where you live you could try searching your local 'Gumtree' website.

I just saw someone on Glasgow Gumtree offering a 3 man tent for £15.

Now is the perfect time after everyone's came back from Glastonbury.

Couldn't you buy the tent in Germany? I would recommend Lidl/Aldi tents as they are cheap & very waterproof - they don't seem to have them in the stores here at the moment, but as they are German shops, I would have thought it would be fairly easy to get your hands on one there...

    Thanks guys for your responses.

I have purchased the tesco 2 person tent http://direct.tesco.com/q/R.200-0497.aspx

Manage to get it for 13.50!! bargin. Have already put it up and took around 5 minutes. Also a first time ever for a tent get it back in the same bag neatly. I'm sure I'll get my monies worth from this tent.
