SSE (Scottish, Southern Energy) - Cheap !!

I am new so just browsing the topics and posting my thoughts and ideas in a few

I just wanted to let you all know I recently switched my Gas and Electricity to SSE (2nd biggest provider in the UK) after a lengthy discussion with a door knocker in my home.

I rang 0800 072 3030 and quoted the reference the man asked me to which was: 010870650 and they were loads cheaper, despite me always switching to ensure I get the best deal I still saved a packet so chuffed :rolleyes: and to be honest get bored of searching around and switching

Southern electric salesmen are generally the worst salesman of all as far as lies and misinformation are concerned.

OP can you please post unit rates ETC as I very much doubt SE are the cheapest for you.

SSE arn't the cheapest for anyone, last price increases they put their electricity up by 25% when everyone else put theirs up 10%, effectivley pricing themselves out the market. They certainly aint the cheapest in my area (Hydro!).
