Logo/font for site and flyers

Hi all, I am looking for a way of doing a logo for my business, I don't want a picture just my business name in a nice font. Have had a search on google and looked at a few diy logo sites but there's nothing that really looked right. At the moment I'm just using Edwardian script font but the flyers I've had done weren't available in that font so look different. I really need a proper logo that I can upload to printing sites and my website. I am technolgically challenged so it needs to be easy or I'll have to get someone else to do it which I can't really afford at the mo. Stuck really!
Thanks for any help :-)

A word of warning.
If you want to use the font on your website ( I assume for continuity of branding), then you need to choose from one of the main fonts available. If you decide to use a downloaded font such as Accidental Presidency, then it may look fine on your flyers etc, but if the website viewer doesn't have it downloaded themselves, then it will automatically default to a plain font and that's all they'll see.
For a logo, you'll need to convert to a picture format. Photoshop will achieve this easily, but it's not cheap. Not sure if the free apps like Gimp will do this for you.0 -

Hi
Try scriptlance and get a professional to do it. scriptlance.com is a place whereby you can post a project and designers bid for the work. Dead cheap way of getting something that looks right.0 -
