We would like to know what is the best order to get the below work done - have suggested following order but not sure if this is the best order:
1. Wooden floor boards - sand down and a day later vacuum up the dust
2. Removal of all lining paper on walls.
3. Complete rewiring.
4. Replaster the walls and allow time to dry out (how long?).
5. Paint the walls.
6. Varnish the floorboards.
New to all this so not sure, and all advice welcome!

Would put any work on floor boards lower on list
e.g after painting the walls0 -
Do not touch the floor until after the rewiring is done. Also leave till after the walls have been stripped. Otherwise you will have to clear up more than once.I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.0 -
definately leave sanding the floorboards until after the walls are plastered, the existing varnish will offer a degree of protection from stains, which will sand out and help prevent the boards absorbing moisture.0

Yes BUT
no harm in stripping off wallpaper while waiting for the electrician.
You could also start the long job of rubbing down the wood work.0
