I got £5 foxy from BP this week - didn't have enough for an Amazon voucher

Had the worst day ever! My fiance got stung by a wasp at work and went into anaphylactic shock, his workmates rushed him to hospital and they had him hooked up to a heart monitor, oxygen and a drip when I got there. He's home now but will have to carry a needle thingy for the rest of his life in case it happens again.

The nurse told him that he could have died if he had been on his own!

    I'm so worried now

Jesa - have a hug! It sounds really scary but try to focus on the fact that he now has his epipen so, if it does happen again, he can use it and won't go into shock. It's better that you know about it in case he gets stung again. Make sure he carries it all the time though. Sorry, if that sounds patronising - not good at trying to explain what I mean :o

Thank you - it doesn't sound patronising at all and you're right it is better to know. He is getting the epipen tomorrow but he is soooo forgetful that I'm worried it'll happen and he won't have it with him. He is always going out without his phone or keys

I'm on red alert for the night as if he starts to feel unwell again we have to go to A&E

I have never been so scared in all my life. Got a call at work from his workmate saying he had gone into fit and couldn't hear anything (which was not quite correct) but it panicked me and I got there as quick as possible

OH said he thought he was dying :(

Jesa - what a shame about your oh, I bet you were really worried. As Froddington said it is better to be aware about this now in case it happens again. I hope he gets on the mend soon. x

I bet u were terrified. Thats terrible. At least it happened under the circumstances it did- his work mates were There, you were in this country and not on hol etc. I know it's not ideal, but at least now u have the epipen.

Easier said then done, but try and rest tonight even If u can't sleep. Hugs xx
