Has anyone used http://www.propertyplastics.co.uk/ to purchase upvc windows and had good/bad experiences.Prices seem good but would like to hear from previous customers.

I bought my front door from them about 6 months ago, had no problems, the infill panel was delivered separately and arrived a couple of days after the door, i was quite impressed with the quality, they used Rehau profile and galvanised steel reinforcing, the whole transaction was very smooth, my only gripe, and it's a small one was that they were a little vague about delivery dates, i remember when i asked for a specific was told it would be either Friday or Monday, not a huge problem and it wouldn't stop me using them again. Hope this info helps.

im so annoyed with this company i have signed up to this site just to write this.
we placed an order with property plastics via their web site on the sunday night, we got a order confirmation email straight away and the money was deducted from our account monday morning.
we left instructions on the web site that if delivery could not be made by the friday (5 days) to contact us.
my wife called the company on the friday morning just to check and was told she would be called straight back, 2 hours later nothing so i called them myself, the guy finally called me back and told me some story about their supplier being off so i reminded him of the instructions i left about contacting me to which he had no reply not even sorry.
i explained that i must have the goods today and if his company could not deliver then i would have to cancel the order to which the reply i got was "ok i will put in a refund request for you, goodbye" then put the phone down. almost a week later and still no refund.
i will be calling the company again if no refund by tomorrow.

I have just finished dealing with their sister company propertyplumbing.co.uk who share the same premises and management as propertyplastics.co.uk.
I would strongly suggest that you don't use either company. I would rate their customer service as abysmal.
I have finally got the radiators that I ordered but what a struggle it was.
Propertyplumbing just do not pick up the telephone and rarely answer their emails. That's when I discovered the link between the two companies on this forum and suffered off hand treatment from their telesales staff and a an alleged member of management called Des.

Avoid them like the plague

Sorry, could you give show me the thread on this forum that links the two companies together as i couldn't find it when i searched, and i'm sorry if this seems rude but both yourself and the prevoius poster seem to have dragged up an old thread simply to try and harm this company's reputation

Just cancelled an order with Propertyplastics after they refused my request to price match on some plasterboard,apparently the price promise(prominently displayed on the website) only applies to "identical" materials, Gyproc plasterboard was differentiated from Knauf and Lafarge.
They say refund request will be made. I will update when it arrives.
My advice avoid this firm the customer service is poor..phones ring endlessly emails answered days after sending,phone calls not returned.

Bento, Looking at the site it does say that the price promise is for the same product, it seems unfair to ask this company to price match against a different product - I have previously bought fascia board and gutter from this company and had no issues - would recommend based upon my experience.

Refund received.
Johnno29..12.5 mm square edged wallboard made by Gyproc is in my book the same product as 12.5mm squared edged wallboard made by knauf/lafarge.
