Can you give us some more info please, who is saying you have no ebay account
Are you trying to log in, does it recognise your user name or your password. What is the exact message you are getting, and are you 100% sure your log in details are correct, upper and lower case passwords do matter.
If you are 100% sure you have your log in details correct and it shows that your password is wrong then you might have been hacked. Check your email account, see if the spam filter has been set to delete emails from ebay and or paypal. Then come back for more help.

I logged in-obtained my pin by telephone-worded the add-it came up in red saying i could only proceeed if i had an ebay account (I do) won't let me go any further0

I'm glad you sorted it. I rather suspect it meant you didn't have a paypal account though, rather than not having an ebay account.
