Do you take a packed lunch? if so what?
Do you eat out?
In the few short jobs I have done I have done both but hopefully will be doing some temp work soon (just needs signing off by the big boss) and was wondering what to take for lunch.

I get the Asda 'Good for you' frozen meals - I think it's 5 for £4. Then I take a carton of juice and some fruit.0

I get bored very easily so choose different things each week,
-pitta bread, salad, coleslaw and ham is a fave- esp if there is a toaster
-soup and a roll
-salad with extras (meat, roasted veggies etc)
If you will have a kitchen it makes it a lot easier, what are the facilities likely to be?God is good, all the time
Do something that scares you every day

Yeah it does depend on what facilities are available. I usually just take sandwiches until I have sussed out whether there is a microwave / oven / fridge etc.

Get a wide necked flask and you can pretty much take anything hot - and it stays hot for hours. Then you can adapt once you have sussed out the facilities available. You should perhaps have a look at the Old Style Board to see what suggestions are there. There will be loads, no doubt.0

Dissapointed , was expecting half of you to say Greggs just to make my morning funny :P0

Err...I have a feeling this thread is about to be moved to the Old Style Board - that would be an appropriate Board for you to ask this query on...and you will get lots of helpful advice there.:D0

I take left overs from the night befores tea. I always make too much tea on purpose so that I can take it to work for lunch, We have a microwave, so just need to reheat it. It's great.0

I take sandwiches but i vary it between it tuna and cucumber in a roll/sandwhich, cheese and pickle in a roll/sandwhich, corned beef in a roll or salami in a roll0

It depends on my latest craze, and is often dictated by the weather.
In the winter, I'll take soup, microwave meals (e.g. chicken pasta) or macaroni pots (mainly stodge).
In the better weather (about a few weeks in Scotland - only kidding), I take sandwiches, meal/protein bars, fruit, etc.Invented tradition: Couponology
