Even on a new Virgin account...like the OP's?

If so, that seems at odds with the promotional material on the Virgin website.

No CCs are still at 0% on intro offer, providing your dont break the T&Cs (as normal). The go to rate after depends on the individual, but it is around 22%

I don't think they take the fee with the first minimum payment these days CJ (T&C's revised but can't remember when), meaning the first is also £25.

this is what they informed me when i set up the minimum payment with them for the wife's card las month. the chap (allan) said they scrapped paying the BT fee with the first months dd last year

Despite me sending payments from my bank account in plenty of time, over April and May, the payments took longer to arrive and I got hit with £12 late fee plus now lost the 0% deal so interest applied.

Luckily i can and have switched to another 0% deal - but others may not be so fortunate so please remember to set up the DD for min repayment (even if you send more later on) - I've done this for the new card!!
